1991 Honda Civic HB Si Muffler

I just ordered a Tenzo R muffler for my 1991 Honda Civic HB Si. Just wondering if anyone knows the specs or knows where to get a piece of pipe that goes between the muffler and the tip. The stock muffler has 2 tips coming out of it. The TENZO R has 1. I dont know where to find a piece that fits between the tip and muffler. If anyone has any info or knows how to solve the problem, please post here, or email me with the info. Thanks in advance....

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I kinda figured that they would be to small. Do you know of anywhere I can get a part that fits between the 2? I cant seem to find them anywhere. I guess I will have to do what you said and have a custom piece made. Kinda pricey though, you think?

well my friend had a tenzo muffler on his hatch, it was pretty loud, but sounded good. he has the dtm style one tho, he had 2 tips coming from it. i think u just have to get it custom welded, u wouldnt be able to use teh stock pipes anyway cause they would be too small

well how much did u pay for the muffler? is it the complete bolt on rear section, or is it just the actual muffler? if its the whole rear section then it should fit fine. if its just the muffler, u will have to make custom pipes because im pretty sure nobody produces them. either way u should get oversized piping, cat-back. 2.25" or 2.5" would probly be the best. shouldt cost too much. i got my whole cat back custom made, took about 2 hours probly, cost me $325 but tehy provided everything including muffler and tip. u might have to find a custom muffler shop because i dont know if midas would do the oversized piping or not.

have you tried calling your local Midas or muffler shop? my Tenzo exhaust was rear section. so it bolted right on and already had the exhaust tip. but it ranges fron $200-$260 so it better be complete

id try meineke, the one around here told me itd only be 125.00 to run 2.25" cat back and weld on my muffler

I'd look to Thermal R&D for components on your exhuast. They sell oval mufflers that have a really deep pleasant tone for those that don't like typical canister sound.

Also JC Witney sells mandrel bend 18ga 2.25" and 2.5" stainless pipe and mandrel bend pieces for cheap. I'll be looking towards this for my S-10. Imagine an S-10 with Thermal Exhuast. I already put a K&N homemade filter on it..valve actuatuion sounds good on this engine (even though a domestic).
